YEAR END GALA
Friday, June 19

Several months ago, on a Friday night at Bethel Youth, a vote was cast for the theme of the annual gala. The War of 1812 was decided upon for the theme. Therefore, we will travel back in time to the year 1812 for this gala - weaving history into our celebration. Come in uniform, dressed as a civilian, or even as a time traveler.
For this event, we want to ensure that we follow the guidelines set forth by Alberta Health Services. Thus, we will be limiting the number of people in attendance and kindly ask that you RSVP by clicking the button below by Friday, June 12th. We also highly encourage wearing a mask or face covering. If you have any questions about our COVID-19 protocols for this event or would like more information, please visit www.bethelyouth.com. We look forward to social distancing with you soon.
COVID-19 Protocols:
1. We encourage everyone to use the online self-screening tool beforehand.
2. Youth must not attend if they are experiencing the most common symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, or conjunctivitis (pink eye)).
3. We strongly encourage wearing non-medical masks or face coverings at all times.
4. We will screen everyone upon entrance using a questionnaire and contactless thermometer.
5. Food will be individually prepackaged and is encouraged to be taken home.
6. Tables and chairs are 2 meters apart and we encourage family members from the same household to sit together.
7. Games will have limited movement within the space.
8. As this is a faith-based activity, there will be no more than 50 people in attendance.

Join us at Jurassic Forest to spend the day walking through the park and playing some mini golf! Lunch will be provided. Youth must find their own transportation to and from Jurassic Forest. Drop off time is 10 am, and pick up time is 3 pm. Cost = $10. Sign up online by Sunday, July 19. Mask wearing is highly recommended.

Snacks will be provided, but students are highly encouraged to bring money to purchase supper at the food court. Youth must find their own transportation to and from West Edmonton Mall. Drop off time is 1:30 pm inside an entrance that will be specified at a later day. Pick up time is 6:30 pm. Cost = Free. Sign up online by Sunday, August 2. Mask wearing is highly recommended.
